(Yes, the Grand Canyon is in the background of the photo above!)

Hello, everyone! I am a rising junior at Hartwick College and work as a Blue Key Tour Guide. I am an Environmental Chemistry major with a minor in Environmental Science and Policy and a minor in Political Science. This summer I will be working with the EPA and Environmental Justice and I am super excited!

I am very sensitive and caring and full of joy. I love nature, the power of love, and frienship. Please feel free to ask questions, though, I will not answer anything super personal. I hope you enjoy my blog. Have a wonderful day!

Tim and I went on our first date this past Saturday. I had an amazing time!

We first checked out the butterfly garden I made as a girl scout in high school and walked the trails in that park. Then I showed him the old wooden playground we still have at our elementary school. After that, we hiked at Christman’s Sanctuary. We definitely want to go back sometime to swim there with friends.

After Christman’s, we adventured out to Thacher State Park. We wanted to find out how to get to the gazebo thing we could see from the lookout point but couldn’t figure it out. After looking at the map, we decided to hike the escarpment trail to one of the two waterfalls along the 2.3 mile trail. There wasn’t much water when we got there but it was still an amazing hike. We went into a cave as far as we could. It was really cool in there. We saw a bunch of creepy looking wolf spiders and a beautiful moth along the way. Being with him made me feel safe enough to try climbing up to an overhang and I am glad I did because we had a great view from there.

We finished out the adventure by traveling to Scotia and Schenectady. We ate dinner at Jumpin’ Jack’s. Then I showed him the garden since it has become such a huge part of my life and who I am today. We walked along the walking part of Jay street and finished the outing by getting ice cream at Curry Freeze since Alex was working that night.

I had an amazingly wonderful weekend with Tim and I cannot wait to spend more time with him. Next up is hanging out in his town for a weekend
